The noticeable difference between the usual 35mhz and the 2.4GHz is obviously the aerials.
The R606FS has two antennas. These antennas have a diversity function to decrease the chance of receiving an error.
To obtain the best results the two antennas must be kept as straight as possible.
The two antennas should be placed at 90 degrees to each other. This is not a critical figure, but the most important thing is to keep the antennas away from each other as much as possible.
The antennas must be kept away from conductive materials, such as metal and carbon by at least 12.7mm (1/2") If the fuselage is made of carbon the antennas must be places outside the fuselage.
The antennas should be kept away from motors, ESC and other noise sources as much as possible.
As with all aerials be very careful when handling the antennas, excessive force could break or compromise the internal antenna connections.

The main purpose of the photo is to demonstrate how the antenna should be placed, actual installation should include foam or sponge around the receiver to protect from vibration.
